An Out Of Character Explanation about the players, the characters, environment and group concept.

Well, simply, we are who we are. We have a high percentage of professionals within the group whom congregate during events to role-play to our hearts contents something we are not. The key word there would be “role-play”. From Company Directors to Doctors; Students to Teachers the people whom make up the Sunz are a diverse set of individuals who follow a simple set of rules:

Can hold your beer.

This isn’t the ability to drink staggering amounts of alcohol in its various disguises but more about the mentality of being responsible for ones own actions and being in control. At the very least, it is the ability to accept being told to “get in the pit” whilst you sleep it off if required.

Only Baity with the Teef in:

Again, due to the very nature of the race and group concept we play all our members have to prove that then can instantly switch from being the IC Baity/ Obnoxious individual (when the teef are in) to the well balanced and moderated player (when the teef are out).

Everyone Contributes

It takes a lot of pre-planning, hard work and money to bring the Sunz to the event and we all do a fair share to take on some of that burden. Each and every member of the Sunz has dipped into their pockect, broken a sweat and become a member of the team in an effort to ensure we are always the best at what we do.

In Character, Always

The players make a conscious effort to remain totally In Character (IC) at all times and will only break into Out Of Character (OOC) to check that a player is happy with the current situation. For instance, we prefer to role-play a torture scene with phys-reps and such but will always check before hand the player is happy to do so and ensure that they fully understand that if they say ‘stop’ it will, instantly, no questions. In addition, during such controversial events as described we will always try and ensure a Ref is on-hand for obvious reasons. Evil Sunz Medallion

It should be noted that any person wearing an Evil Sunz medallion has earned the right to wear one and they are not given out lightly. Any such person should always exhibit the above conduct and if not or you have a complaint (only Out Of Character ones please) never be afraid to contact the group leader either at the event or afterwards via e-mail or the forums).

What You See Is Not Always What You Get

In observing the above role-playing standards and characterisations it is very easy for those whom do not know us to mis-interpretate events that may occur. Indeed, such has occurred and all we ask is that you have any concerns contact us for clarification before spreading malicious rumours about the group. If your not comfortable with contacting us, please, do us the courtesy of contacting the event organisers so that they can investigate as we have nothing to hide, ever.
